An Independent Approach to Optometry

Mt Hawthorn Eyeworks is an independent optometry practice in Perth, focused on delivering considered eye care, carefully selected eyewear, and lens solutions tailored to how you actually use your vision.

The practice was founded by James Quinn, whose career in optics began working alongside his father at Blink 138 Opticians in Leederville. From early on, James developed a strong appreciation for the relationship between technical precision and real-world outcomes — and became known for a more personal, less clinical approach to eye care.

After more than a decade working as an optometrist in Claremont, building long-standing relationships with patients in the area, he returned to Mount Hawthorn to establish a practice that reflects both his experience and his connection to the local community.
